Roseann Rosenthal

WATERBURY- Roseann (Dufresne) Rosenthal-Shannon, 77, formerly of Waterbury and Terryville died Saturday June 3, 2006, after a long illness at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. She was the wife of the late Daniel Shannon.

Born in Waterbury on September 23, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Harry Dufresne and Ann (Boisvert) (Dufresne) Adamek. She was a graduate of Leavenworth High School. Rosanne was well known for her endeavors in the Antiques and Collectibles business, at one time owned Rozann Antiques in Middlebury. She took pleasure in frequenting antiques flea markets.

She is survived by a daughter Lisa Martin of Waterbury, two sons Steven Rosenthal of W. Palm Beach, FL, Kenneth Wilcox of San Diego, CA, a brother Donald Adamek of Barkhamstead, CT ,three sisters Lynda Adamek of Wolcott, Sandra Conrey and Patricia Grabchuk both of FL, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by son Ellery Wilcox and brother Joseph Adamek.

A Memorial Service will be held 3PM on Saturday June 17, 2006 at DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Burial will be Monday 11 AM at New Pine Grove Cemetery.
