Ruth Crocco

Born October 3, 1926 in Medford, MA a daughter of the late Richard and Katherine Clifford. Ruth attended local schools and lived in Boston before marrying and moving to Waterbury. She worked for Burco Manufacturing for several years before working for the Visiting Nurses of Watebury.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Kathleen Pazera Ferrelli, a son-in-law Guy Ferrelli of Southington, grandchildren Kimberly and Guy Ferrelli and little Miss Izzy; a son Richard Pazera and daughter-in-law Donna Pazera of Prospect. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Richard, Robert and Ralph Clifford.

She was a big Red Sox fan and loved talking with her friends, Francis Kilborn, Dolores Linderman, Helen Thomas, Bill Flemming, Rosaline Brown and her best friend Marge Roth. The family wishes to especially thank the second floor nurses and staff at the Southington Care Center for the wonderful care their mom was given.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
