

She was born Dec. 24, 1918 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Salvatore and Frances (Loustro) Carpentier. She had retired from G.M.T. and had been a volunteer of Hospital of Central CT, Bradley Memorial and Southington Care Center. Mrs. Testa was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
She is survived by a son Joseph Testa and his wife Maria of Leomister, MA and a daughter Linda Kania and her husband David of Southington, a brother Joseph Carpentier of Cooperstown, NY, 3 grandchildren, William Kania and Carrie Kania and Jason Testa, 2 great granddaughters, Samantha and Rebecca Kania, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Ann Macharelli and RoseMary Boccardi and a brother Charles Carpentier.
The Funeral will be held Tuesday 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 5-7 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the Southington Care Center, 45 Meriden Ave. Southington, CT 06489.
