Sarah Katherine (Josephs) Hun, 48, of Newington, formerly of Southington, gained her angel wings on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Sarah was born in New Britain on November 16, 1973 and was the daughter of Kenneth and Patricia (Linch) Josephs. She was recently employed as a cashier for Ocean State Job Lot. In her spare time, you could find Sarah either shopping for a great deal or curled up reading a good book. She was a huge fan of Bon Jovi and Tom Petty. But most of all, Sarah loved her family and cared very deeply for them. They were the center of her world. Sarah also had a big heart and would help anyone that needed it. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Anna Couturier of Bristol and a granddaughter who will be arriving in January of 2023. She is also survived by her two brothers, Steven Josephs of Old Saybrook and Eric Josephs of Bristol and also by her companion, David Couturier of Newington. She is also going to be missed by her furbabies; her cat Tutu, and her two dogs, Jessie and Lola. Calling hours for Sarah will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Street, Southington, CT 06489. Sarah will be laid to rest privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
