Sarah Kolosky Borrelli

Sarah (Kolosky) Borrelli, 34, of Bristol, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at the Bristol Hospital. She was the loving wife of Matthew J. Borrelli and beloved daughter of John and Diane (Sirois) Kolosky .

Sarah was born on October 14, 1981 in New Britain and grew up in Southington. She attended Southington schools and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.

Sarah was a dedicated nurse and a compassionate caregiver. She worked at several local health care facilities throughout her career. Sarah had a love for flowers and a passion for rescuing animals.

In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her brother Michael Kolosky and wife Jennifer of Middletown and a sister Jennifer Papallo and her husband David Papallo Jr. of Haddam; her nieces Hannah Kolosky and Makena Papallo and a nephew Gabriel Kolosky; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Francis and Cheryl Borrelli of Bristol; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jessica and Eric Coelho and their children, Luke, Jake and Gabriella Coelho all of Wethersfield. She also leaves her beloved beagle Casey.

The funeral will be held on Friday, 9:15 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St., Southington, in procession to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
