Sheriden R. Jewett

Born in Northfield, VT he was the son of the late Royden and Mary (Stevens) Jewett. He served in the US Army during the Korean War in the 3rd Battalion 31st Infantry Regiment. He worked for Hartford Special Machinery for 20 years and was also a school bus driver in Farmington for 20 years. Sheriden lived in Southington since 1953 and was a big fan of the NY Yankees and UCONN Women’s Basketball.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Katherine and her husband William DeLuca of Newport Richey, FL, Mary Lou and her husband David Zaugg of Newington, Tina Jewett of Southington, Pamela Ellis of Plantsville, Anthony Jewett, Robin Morris both of Southington, and Sandra and her husband Michael Willis of Plantsville, two brothers Kenneth and his wife Carol Jewett of Springfield, VT, Ronald Jewett of Northfield, VT, three sisters Althea and her husband Thomas Banfield of Essex Junction, VT, Patricia and her husband John McComb of NC, Jackie and her husband Darryl Chamberlin of Northfield, VT, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Philomena, he was predeceased by his daughter Juanita Jewett, his grandson Richard Ruperti, and his son-in-law Roger Ellis.
