She was born in New Britain on March 7, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily Konik. She had been the co owner & operator along with her husband,of the Doubleday?s Used Car & Farm Equipment Co. She attended Morse School of Business. Mrs. Doubleday also worked at H & R Block and Citizen Bank. She was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.
She is survived by her children, Theodore Doubleday and Emily Doubleday both of Southington, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a brother Edward Konik of Colorado Spring CO, a sister Regina Bowles of Beverly Hills, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter Dolores Doubleday.
The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain. Calling hours will be Monday 5-7 p.m.
