Theresa Caliendo

Born in Italy, May 28, 1912, a daughter of the late John and Raffaele (Maio) Salerno. Theresa was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves a son, Thomas Caliendo of S. Meriden; a sister, Caroline Orsatti of New York; four grandchildren, April and her husband Tom Ouellette of S. Meriden, Cheril Caliendo of Southington, Michael Caliendo and his wife Andrea of Southington and Kevin Caliendo and his wife Kirstin of Darien; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her many friends at Miller Memorial. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Caliendo and four brothers, Al, Frank, Anthony and Philip Salerno. Her family wishes to thank the staff for all of their loving care.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2006, 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church for a mass. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 9 to 10 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
