Theresa (Theriault) (Whitcomb) Owen

Born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Annie (Parent) Theriault. She worked for Owen Tool & Manufacturing Company in Southington for over 27 years. She was a devout Roman Catholic and was a communicant of St. Dominic Church. She enjoyed crocheting as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Terry was one of eleven children and is survived by one sister Rita Ouellette of Maine. Terry was also predeceased by her five beautiful children. Left to cherish her memory, she is survived by Walter’s daughter, Shirley and her husband Michael Davis of Southington and their children: Michael (Toni), Kristen (Jon), Marc (Kimberly), Jonathan (Ashley), Jennifer (Steven) and 13 great-grandchildren.

Terry was also survived by Walter’s daughter, Elaine and her husband Gene Paradis of Southington and their children: Alan Paradis and Joseph (Chantal) Paradis and 3 great-grandchildren. Terry leaves behind an extended family in Maine and Canada. She is also survived by her loving nephews & niece: Bob & David Thibodeau and Lina Gibson.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1PM at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery in Bangor, ME. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at St. Dominic Church in Southington, CT.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Terry’s name to St. Dominic Church, Southington.
