

Southington-Theresa "Teri" (Lemanski) Peshka passed away at Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury on Friday, January 6, 2012, with her loved ones close by and while in the outstanding care of the doctors and nurses of the VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit.
Born in New Britain, Mrs. Peshka most recently resided in Southington. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Peshka attended Sacred Heart Church while living in New Britain and was most recently a parishioner of St. Dominic Church in Southington.
Mrs. Peshka was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Edward R. Peshka, in 2005. She leaves her children Paul and his wife RoseMarie, Nancy and her partner Jackie McCreesh, all of Southington, Joann Depner and her husband Steven of Plainville, Edward of Bristol, and her daughter-in-law Melissa of Plainville. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, who were the pride of her life, Michael, Christopher, Bryan, Eric, Edward, Abigail and Analea, as well as Wil and Megan McCreesh. She is also survived by her sisters Genevieve Arbour of Kensington, Barbara Bradshaw of Winnsboro, TX, and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by infant grandchildren Lindsey and Andrew Depner.
A memorial service will be held at St. Dominic Church in Southington on Friday at 10 A.M followed by burial at St. Thomas Cemetery in Southington.
To honor the wishes of Mrs. Peshka, there will be no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
