
He was born Nov. 4, 1922 in New Britain son of the late Michael and Mary Arre. He had worked for Pratt & Whitney for 30 years and was a Lieutenant in the Pratt &Whitney Fire Dept. After his retirement he worked at Acorn Fastner in Bristol. Mr. Arre served in the U.S. Army in Africa and Italy during WW II and received the Purple Heart. He was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Michael Arre and Albert Arre both of Wallingford, Geraldine Milo of Plantsville and Pamela Webster of Bristol, 4 sisters, Cris Mesite of Culpupper, VA, Grace Musto, Mary Cibula and Marion Testa all of Southington, a brother Dominic Arre of Southington, 3 granddaughters, Andrea, Alyessa and Ashley Arre, a great granddaughter, Kylie, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Thomas Arre and brothers Michael and Steven Arre, a grandson Jeffrey Milo.
The Funeral will be held Monday 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery with Military honors.Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 PM.
