She was born in Southington on July 21, 1929, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Elvira (Tito) Grimaldi. Vera retired from the former Citizen's National Bank of Plantsville.
She is survived by a daughter Denise Zercie of Southington, 3 grandchildren, Jared, Keith and Timothy Dubin. She also leaves her nieces and nephews Lawrence J. Mucci, Elaine M. Alagna, Roberta G. Knoegel, Patricia G. Hackett and Richard Grimaldi Jr. she also leaves many great nieces and nephews.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 10am- 12 noon. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
