Veronica "Ronnie" Mirisola Stanek

Veronica “Ronnie” A. Stanek, 81, of Southington, entered eternal peace on November 25, 2024. She was born in New Britain, CT, on November 21, 1943, graduated from Southington High School, and raised her family in Marshfield, MA for 20 years before returning to Southington. Ronnie had a successful career as an Executive Assistant for many companies including General Mills, Aetna, and Otis Elevator.

Ronnie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, “Grandma”, sister, aunt, and friend. Her commitment to and love for family, friends, and community was unwavering and reflected in open hearted acts of kindness.

She is predeceased by her husband Dennis J. Stanek Sr. and parents, Cataldo and Helen Mirisola.

Survived by her daughters Karen Kraut and her husband Eric of Belmont, VT, Susan Webber and her husband Michael of Pawling, NY, Maryellen Ciccio and her husband Stefano of North Port, FL, and Amy Brown and her husband Craig of Marshfield, MA. Her sisters Marion Manware and husband Gene of Southington, and Angela Ceruti and husband Joseph of Chatham, MA. Her brothers Jack Mirisola and wife Sharon of Southington, and Anthony Mirisola and his wife Phyllis of Torrington. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Jack and Natalie Maurice, Laurence, Joseph, and Veronica Webber, Megan Phelps and her husband James, Albert Palumbo, and Lucy Brown; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for Ronnie will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington, CT 06489. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mary Our Queen Church - St. Luke Parish, 248 Savage St, Southington, CT 06479. A burial will follow at Saint Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
