

He was born in Italy on March 6, 1930, the son of the late Stefano and Giovanna (Luongo) Cirillo. Prior to his retirement he had been employed at Ideal Forge Corp. for many years.
Vincenzo was an avid gardener and was known for his lemons and figs. He raised rabbits and chickens, he also enjoyed making bread and wine and weaving baskets.
He is survived by his children Stefano and wife Pasqualina Cirillo, Josephine and husband Robert Rubino, Giuliano Cirillo and Sarah all of Southington, 11 grandchildren, Robert and his girlfriend Jessica, Antonietta, Jacqueline and husband Donato, Vincenzo, Francesca, Shantel, Derek, Aliyah and Christopher, a great grandchild Justin and one on the way. He also leaves 8 siblings in Italy and many brothers in-law,sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son Giovanni and a sister.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
