Vincenzo Cusano

Southington- Vincenzo Cusano, 79, of Autran Ave., passed away on Friday Dec. 5, 2008 at The Hospital of Central CT Bradley Campus. He was the husband of Erminia (Orrale) Cusano. Born in Italy on April 24, 1929, he was the son of the late Antonio and Michcolina ( Melillo) Cusano.

Prior to retiring, he was employed by Ideal Forge Corp and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.

Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter and a son Lena D’Agostino and her husband Anthony and Antonio Cusano and his wife Jennetta all of Southington, three granddaughters Concetta D’Agostino, Josephine and Marissa Cusano, a brother Pasquale Cusano of FL five sisters Rosalia Coppola of North Haven, Sylvia Coppola and her husband Pasquale of Shelton, Maria Coppola and her husband Guido of North Haven, Antoinetta Savo and her husband Guilio of North Haven, and Angelina Coppola and her husband Carlo of North Haven, brothers in law, and sisters in law Maria and Thomas DelSanto  of Southington and June and Julio Simone of Naugatuck along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Concetta (Simone) Cusano.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday December 9th at 9:15 AM from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home to St. Thomas Church 99 Bristol St for a mass at 10 AM. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8 PM.
