William T. Goodrow

Born on March 28, 1956, in Southington, he was the son of Elizabeth Fairbanks of Southington and the late Philip Goodrow. Bill attended local schools and was a graduate of Southington High School. He spent his career as a dedicated machinist, retiring from Gibbs Wire and Steel after many years of hard work and loyal service.

Bill enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—especially playing video golf and spending time outdoors as an avid fisherman. He will be remembered for his easygoing nature, quiet humor, and the gentle presence he brought to those around him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Craig Goodrow of Southbury; his half-sister Linda Caruso of Barnard, VT; his niece, Christina Coelho and her husband Joseph of Woodbury; and his nephew, Lee Goodrow of Agawam, MA. He also leaves behind two cherished great-nieces, Delia and Adrienne Coelho. Bill was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Linda Goodrow.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 5–7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. May his memory be a comfort and a blessing to all who knew him.
