William J. Halla

He was born May 16, 1957 in Kittery, Maine, the son of Joan Goodwin Halla of Meriden and the late Gordon Halla. He was an engineer at EDAC Technologies of Cheshire and formerly of Molloy of Farmington. He was a member of the Center Congregational Church in Meriden. He enjoyed competative shooting and was a member of the Silver City Gun Club and the Bristol Fish and Game Club.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Cathy, Jacqueline, Diana, Jonathan, Jason, Robin and Max. He also leaves 2 brothers Don and his wife Chris of Bloomfield and Curtis and his wife Malena Halla of Wethersfield, a sister Lori and her husband Wolfgang Schmitt of Hebron and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held Friday 11 a.m. at the Center Congregational Church, 474 Broad St. Meriden. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to the Halla Children Education Fund, c/o Maria Halla at any TD Bank location.
