William Trusiewicz

William was born in Dunkirk, New York, and educated in New Haven schools. A veteran of WWII, he spent three years in the 1333rd Army Air Force Base Unit in India as a Chemist Assistant; returning after the war to attend Parsons School of Design, graduating with a major in Interior Design.

Bill worked as a painting contractor in the Waterbury area and made many friends while ballroom dancing with his wife. Besides his wife of 63 years, he is also survived by his children, Michael W. Trusiewicz, William E. Trusiewicz, Nick R. Trusiewicz, Gina M. Trusiewicz, and his grandchildren, Regina Leahy, Eric Trusiewicz, Emilie Trusiewicz, and Andrew Placzek.

Friends are encouraged to attend a brunch held in his memory on Sunday, May 31, at 10:30AM at Krystal Gardens 1146 Spindle Hill Rd. in Wolcott. Those who would like to speak will be invited to do so. Directions and information can be found at www.dellavecchiafh.com.
