

Al passed away peacefully in the care of Hospice Niagara from a short battle of cancer at the age of 71 years of age. Al was born in St. Catharines. He is predeceased by his parents Gena and Victor and his brother Romus. He is survived by his brother Vytas (Charline) niece Melissa and nephew Vytas Jr. Special friend to Susan Lemky and goddaughters Melissa and Bonnie Rose. Al was lifelong friends with Larry and Joanne Whalley, Tammy Jo (Tom) Cindy and Sean (Melissa).
Al lived a very quiet comfortable life with his good friends Matt and Debbie Doucette. Matt and Debbie's daughter Breanne (Nathan) and grandchildren, Kameryn, Kessel and Avery. Al was a huge sports buff, he knew all the teams and the players, the sports channel was a must in our home as he watched it for many hours. Algis loved and pampered his beautiful ragdoll cat Ruby. We will miss you Al, don't worry about Ruby she is being loved and pampered just the way she was accustomed to by you.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements will take place at a later date with family.
