The Lord in His perfect timing has called home His daughter, Aske Langendoen, on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the age of 86 years old. She will be greatly missed by Andy, her beloved husband of more than 65 years, and her cherished children: Sandra and Al Brouwer, Bernie (2020) and Rita, Debbie and John Dykema, Rob and Marianne, Andre and Karyn. She was a loving Grandma to 25 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Her siblings were very special to her: Hank (Nel) Dekker, Anne Langendoen, and Dick Dekker; predeceased by sister Dina Bakker and brothers Jack and Ben Dekker. She will be missed by many in-laws and dear friends.
Visitation is planned for Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Immanuel United Reformed Church (2900 Fourth Avenue, Jordan). The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Immanuel URC, preceded by a private family interment. The service will be followed by a time of fellowship and a light lunch.
