Passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 91at the Marotta Family Hospital in St. Catharines. Sadly missed by her daughter Cindy Hrenuk (Chris Routheaux). Gammie Barbie to Winry and Granny to Christiana. Daughter-in-law Ola Animashaun. Sister to Bob Whitehead.
Predeceased by her parents Thelma Udell and William Whitehead and her son Terry Whitehead.
Barbara retired from Tele Spectrum and was a landlord for many years. She had a passion for crafting for the hospital, knitting and crocheting hats and scarves. She had a love of cats and had a soft spot for taking in strays as well as enjoying gardening and planting.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday April 15th 2026 from 10:00am- 11:00am at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am with cremation to follow.
Inurnment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens to be announced.
