DEKKER, Bert- Passed away Wednesday January 18, 2012 in his 86th year; born in Holland February 7th, 1926. Dear Husband of the late Lammijge (Schonewille 1999). Loved father and grandfather of Klaas and his children Jonathan, Neil, and Victoria (Damien), Christine and her husband Steve Neamtu and their son Sean (Jen), Mary (late Tom Martin) and their children Janice, Jessica (Ryan) and Jillian(Steve), and Harry (Joanne) and his daughter Lindsay (Neil). Great grandchildren Ivy and Mia Perrault, Sebastian and Annabelle Jesson and Layla Neamtu. Dear brother of Harm, Klaas, Geesje, the late Jan, Hank, and Margje and their families all in Holland. Brother in law of Catherine Pol (late Bruin), Kay & Luke Mol, Harm & Elly Schonewille, Greda & Peter VandenBogerd, Tina Schonewille (late Cor), late Henry & Lana Schonewille, Roelie and the late AlbertSchonewille and their families in Canada and in Holland. Cousin of Henk & Sophie Schonewille and Joe & Dorothy Schonewille.

The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Friday January 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 21st at First Reformed Church, 1136 Vansickle Road at 9:30 am. Interment in Rockway Cemetery.
