PATTEN, Betty Mary – Passed away peacefully at Amica – St. Catharines Place Retirement Residence on October 10, 2017 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Thomas (Tom) Patten (2010). Loving mother of Michael (the late Carolyn, nee Bryne 2014), Graham (Mary Jane, nee Martin), Wayne (Diane, nee Mauro) and Robert (Alison, nee Mitchell). Betty will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Alison, the late Rob (1995), Blair, Jimmy, Jason, Brandon, Dylan, Ryan and great-grandsons, Jordan, Jesci and Colby. Gratitude for the care and empathy shown by the staff, nurses and PSW’s at St. Catharines Place.
In accordance with Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Betty’s memory to National Parkinson Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
