Bev was born on June 26th, 1946 in Toronto Ontario the daughter of Peter and Catherine (Kay) Kolaski. She lived with her siblings, her dad and stepmom Mary on the farm and enjoyed hearing and sharing stories of their time together.
Bev was a lifelong guider. Her and her good friend Joan Proctor enjoyed working and learning with the youth they mentored through the years. The guiding camps were a special time for all with the hikes, canoeing, tenting and having fun. At these camps Bev was always the first one up with the coffee on and everyone knew where to head in the mornings.
Bev and Joan also liked to travel in their camper. Down East, out West, up North, the USA or anywhere there was a jamboree or church service where they could sing until the cows came home. Bev was a talented musician who loved to sing. She even found an online singing group to join through COVID which she thoroughly enjoyed.
In her younger days Bev was an avid sports player who played both hockey and baseball with elite teams. This brought her much joy and she always spoke fondly of “those good old days”.
Beverly loved to be out in nature. While camping she loved to canoe and swim. Sometimes at the same time! Whoops. Bev loved attending worship, she was very generous and always willing to help others.
Now Bev may have been a little stubborn and liked to do things her way so as per her wishes there will be no visitation and a private celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
Beverly is survived by her siblings, Donna Kolaski, Debra Shimabuku, Penny Montgomery, George Kolaski and Bob Worsford, their spouses and her nieces, nephews and of course the cousins and friends.
