My heartfelt condolences to Bruce's family, friends and the entire Algoma Family. Although I only met Bruce a few times recently in the office at Algoma - he always had such a warm friendly smile. And from reading some of the memories - it's safe to say he was so loved and will be greatly missed. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Taken way too soon. Rest in peace Bruce.

It’s difficult to even find words to express how heartbreaking it is to have someone so loved, and by so many...taken too soon.

I grew up with Bruce next door as our families were close. Backyard BBQ’s, soccer baseball games across unfenced yards, hide and seek with his chimney always “base”, outside fun until we were called in after dark... there were countless special occasions, sleepovers, and trips out to “Poppy Leonard’s camp” for a swim that just made he, his sister Kari, Toby and Lynn an extension of my family. Though the last 50 years has seen much change as lives get busy and people move about, I still regard Bruce as a brother. To walk into his home a few years ago and pick up where childhood left off was a testament to his easy-going, fun-loving and accommodating nature - I brought my entire family including the dog and camped in he and Paula’s basement -it was as if time had stood still. Wonderfully generous of spirit with an unmistakable laugh, he will never be forgotten.

My heart aches for the family- Kari, Lynn, Tyler, and Paula. Please know my entire family sends you love.

I did not know Bruce for the length of time that many that have eulogized him in prior posts; but I certainly enjoyed the time that I was privileged to share with him in the maritime business.
He was a true professional but a gentleman first.

Sincere Condolences to the Partridge and extended Family.
