HOFFMANN, Carola (nee Benda)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carola on Sunday June 21, 2020 in her 94th year in the comfort of her own home. Loving wife of the late Lenhardt Hoffmann (1979). Beloved mother of Garry, Dale and Yvonne. Dear Oma of 13 grandchildren; Kami, Kathy, Karyn, Kristen, Kelli, JR, Ryan, Sonya, Eric, Todd, Aaron, Debbie and Lena and 31 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her great grand daughter Elise.
She was a long time member at The Niagara on the Lake Golf Club where she enjoyed spending time with her dear friends. She also spent time traveling abroad with other various friends. Although she was very active, she never missed any time with her family here and abroad. Carola will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.
As per Carola's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place in North Dakota at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hulse & English Funeral Home (905-684-6346). Memorial donations to Myeloma Canada (www.myelomacanada.ca) would be appreciated. A special thank you to all of the support workers that assisted in Carola's care.

Joe and I were saddened to hear of Carola’s passing and offer our sincere condolences. We lived many years at the “Fairways” with Carola and were always glad to be in her company. She was always an “upbeat“ lady and fun to be with. Many years ago Carola gave our two year old son a toy dump truck that your Dad had acquired and he still has it as part of his memorabilia. We have Carola in our daily prayers knowing she is now in God’s house.

Carola (Oma) will always be in our hearts and our memories of her will be cherished. Oma was such an amazing, and classy woman. She loved to golf, travel and staying active. She was someone that I inspire to be like. I will miss her smile, our talks and the laughs we had together.
When I was younger my friends thought that Oma was the coolest because she drove a red hot mustang.
The first time I golfed with Oma she got a hole in one.
We had many visits and outings with Oma, my sister, my mom and myself - we called it the “4 musketeers” day.
I will cherish every memory and will miss Oma every day.

I want to express my love and appreciation to my daughters, Debbie and Lena, for their love, support. and being with me. Debbie for all the time + energy on all the extensive paper work....I don’t know what I have done without her for this. We are no longer “the four musketeers’ but will stay close as “4 musketeers “ (our time Oma, my girls and I would go out together doing something....yes I too will miss Oma waving good bye from her window)
Thank you all my family and friends for your love and support, I greatly appreciate it.❤️🙂
