Dale Cox

Peacefully passed away after a long courageous battle, at his home, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 28 years of Shelly (nee Roger). Cherished and loved Dad of Jennifer (Jordan) Meffe and Sean (Courtney) Cox. Proud and devoted Grandpa of Adriana and Amorina Meffe and future grandfather to their incoming baby cousin Cox. Brother of Terry Cox and Rick Cox. Survived by his niece and nephew Brianne and Ricky. Predeceased by his parents Gary and Carole Cox.

Dale was a “MacGyver” in many ways; he enjoyed woodworking and tackling any household project. He loved to play and watch hockey, lacrosse, and baseball. He was a lover of all things outdoors, whether it was camping, fishing, boating or hiking; but nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by his family. Dale was known for his sense of humour and witty one liners that would make anyone laugh. His positivity for life was contagious and so was his loving, kind and generous heart.

In keeping with Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. St. Catharines. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or to your local Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
