Doris Wilhelmina Pettifer

In her 95th year, Doris Pettifer (nee Ward) is reunited with her beloved husband Rae (1993) on Sunday, October 16th, 2016. Lovingly known as GP, she was matriarch to 5 generations; the loving mother of Linda (Wayne Lockey), grandmother to Barbara (Joe), Glen (Stephanie), Stephen (Karen), Chris (Dawn), Dori-Ann (Shawn), great grandmother to Lauren (Daniel), Tyler, Brittany, Chynna, Maddison, Jayden, Griffen, Gannon, Miranda, Jake, Edward, Jackson, Peyton, great great grandmother to Olivia, and aunt to Brian (Laura). She was a proud supporter of the Historical Society of St Catharines. She will be fondly revered for her benevolence; she volunteered at Lingarden School of St Catharines, and dedicated 50+ years to Community Care of St Catharines and Thorold.

The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Saturday, October22nd from 1:30pm. A Celebration of Doris life will follow in the chapel at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Doris memory to Community Care would be appreciated by her family.
