Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on February 7,2024 at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her much-loved husband George. Dearly missed by her daughter Lesley (John) Sharpe and granddaughters Meredith Sharpe (Peter Dobbin), Carrie Sharpe (Darryl McMillan) and great-grandchildren Halleah and Lyndon Dobbin. Sadly missed by her niece Joyce (Peter) Gregory of the UK as well as Dorothy's extended family members in the UK.
Dorothy was a long-standing member of St John's Anglican Church in Port Dalhousie, The Ladies Shrine of St. Catharines and The St.Catharines Horticultural Society.
A special thank-you to all of her dear friends who helped her with her everyday needs as well as the Royal Henley Staff and the nurses on 5B at the St. Catharines General.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at St.John's Anglican Church , 80 Main Street, Port Dalhousie on Tuesday February 13th 2024 from 10-11:00am. A Eucharist Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00am with interment to follow at St.John's Cemetery, Port Dalhousie.
