

Beloved sister of Robin and aunt of Linda, Wendy Kathy and Debbie. Born in Darjeeling, India in 1929, educated at Loretto Convent. Trained as a Angio Therapist at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and as a Hydrotherapist in London.
Eileen emigrate to Canada. in 1958 and practiced as a Physiotherapist at Ottawa Civic Hospital until 1984. During this period she attained a B.A. from the University of Ottawa.
Eileen resided in Sandyhill Ottawa with her much loved cats who she had adopted through Friends of Abandoned Pets.
Eileen was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Church Ottawa where she participated in the choir and assisted new immigrants with conversational skills in English.
Once she retired from active work she was a volunteer at the Ottawa Hospice, and a Parish Visitor at Rideau Gardens. In addition she attended an Quaich Society meetings, was a member of the Raging Grannies and a volunteer with an Ottawa Helpline.
Eileen was active in the founding of the Clan MacLennan in Ontario and attended many Highland Games.
She moved to Rideau Gardens Retirement Residence in Ottawa for a brief period. At the age of 80 she moved to Rapelje Lodge Welland to be near her brother, Robin.
After a brief illness she passed away peacefully at Rapelje on Friday, July 29th, 2016. Her family would like to thank the staff at Rapelje including Doctor Ali for her care.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Friends of Abandoned pets.
