Emily Florence Wade

Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines Site – Niagara Health System on Friday, November 27, 2015 in her 89th year. Dearest mother of Don Wade (Darlene) and Barbara Squire (Bill). Emily was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie Hooton, brother Richard Hooton, sister Joan Buckle and grandson Mathew Squire. Emily will be missed by her brothers Frank and Louis Hooton, grandchildren Mark Squire (Kim), Nadine Wade Furlong (Jason) and Elton Wade. She will be sadly missed by her many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the St. Catharines Dialysis Unit for their care and assistance, and also to the Nurses and Doctors of the Palliative Unit B3 for their compassion and kindness shown to Emily.

Family and friends will be received at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346), on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A celebration of her life will take place in the chapel on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Health System – St. Catharines Site Dialysis Unit and would be appreciated by her family.
