Matheson, Ernest Lloyd: W.W. 11 Vet, born June 25, 1914. With Deep sorrow we mourn the loss of a cherished husband, best Dad & loving Grandfather & Great Grandfather. Husband of Ethel for over 65 years, father of Muriel & Herb Tanner, Don Matheson & Mary (McLaren) & Keith & Cheryl Matheson. Grampy of Ryan & Margot Matheson (Toronto), Adrienne Tanner (Japan) & Tyler & Spencer Matheson (St. Catharines) & Great Grandpa of Zion Matheson (Toronto). Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the War Amps, an organization special to Ernest’s heart. Special thanks to the medical staff and caregivers that eased Ethel’s burden & made Ernie’s final days more comfortable.
