Peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late James MacPherson (2015). Loving mother of Jeanette Davidson, the late Fred Davidson and the late Baby Chrissy. Dear sister of Ernest “Bud” (Ann) Smith, Victoria LaLonde, Audrey (the late John) Willgate, and Carlton (Raissa) Smith. Cherished Nanny of Stephen, Jennifer, Melissa, Alicia, Roy, Asa, Kayla, Adam, Lee, Carl, Jesse, and Ford. Great-grandmother of Jenna, Kelsey, Damon, Jerad, Trent, Alyssa, Alexis, Ariana, Curtis, Madison, and Destiny. Survived by four great-great-grandchildren. Ernestine will be lovingly remembered by the Davidson Families, the MacPherson families, many nieces and nephews and close friends.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 1:30 – 3 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations made to Gillian’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
