After a prolonged illness, on Thursday, June 11, 2015, Ewdokia Opariek, surrounded by her family fell asleep in the Lord in the comfort of her home. Beloved wife of the late Ivan (John) Opariek. Cherished mother of Dosia (Cos), Natalia (Orest) and the late Petro. Loving grandmother of Andrey (Tanya), Levko, Bohdanna (Roman), Raeissa (Mike), Yaroslav (Jenn), and Mikola (Alyssa). Great-grandmother of Kalyna, Matviko, Timmy, Milana, and Maksym.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda will be served in the chapel at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. George’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 65 Facer St. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery , Oakville.
