have a memory or condolence to add?

It is a great loss... Although I was only a fan of him, and one of his contacts on FB, and did not know him personally, I am sad. The first time I heard about him was as I saw the movie "Wrong turn", where he played. I have written to him on FB. He has kindly answered, and has accepted my friend request on FB.
Sincere condolences to his family, his friends, and St Catharines.

To my family as they have become ... My memories are vast over the last 30 some odd years. Garry was "Skunk" and I was "Rag Doll". He taught me to how to drive, how to play crib and euchre. We spent endless hours with my family or his. There were days he was in trouble like the nights he'd sneak into the backyard to talk to me and my sisters at my bedroom window but my mother he could not fool. Out came the broom and the chase was on, him at 6' 8" and my mom just over five feet he would run. Later he went on with his life and I with mine but family we always remained. To my family I share your grief and although I can't be there with you, I'm holding your hand and crying your tears. Love Wendy.

My family has known Garry and all of the Robbins family since public school. All though we drifted apart over the years, Garry has remained a close friend over the years with myself and my 2 son's (Bobby Primeau and Donnie York Jr.). I have been ill myself for quite a few years and when I was in the hospital for 2 weeks, Garry never missed a day coming up to make me laugh. He helped me out many times and for that I will never get him. He really loved my son's and they loved him.. Donnie Jr. did his website for him trying to find anything he could about his life including his wrestling and all of his acting in TV shows and movies. I always said Garry was a big man with a big heart. Love you Garry! My deepest sympathy to his family. I know thay were all very close. This was a terrible shock to my family, I couldn't imagine how they are feeling.

May he rest in peace, I guess his work was done. So many of us will always remember Gary with a soft smile, perhaps a rueful shake to our heads. He was always so kind to me, one of my greatest defenders, a lifelong friend. He will be sorely missed and I am so sorry for your pain.

Garry will be missed by so many people around the world. For those here in St. Catharines, it has been a shock to realize that they will not see Garry around town. His smile will be missed. He had a kind and friendly word for all those who spoke to him. And his face lit up when kids wanted to talk to him. They looked up to him in more ways than one.
For those of us who knew him - the smile, the talks, the laughter - it is so hard to believe these will not happen again.
Rest in peace, my friend.
My husband and I send sympathies and prayers to his family as they grieve.

Our condolences to the Robbins family. Much too young. Gary was a larger than life and a generous, kind, thoughtful personality. His heart was as big as he was in life. He will be missed by those whose life he touched.
