My sincerest condolences to Gord's family. Seeing him at Bud's in Brockville guaranteed my time spent there would include laughter and smiles all around. My family and I will miss his charm and wit (of which he had in abundance!!) and his amazing sense of humour that made each visit an enjoyable one.  May he rest in peace.

I just learned of the news of Gord's passing.  I worked with Gord in Ottawa and have lost touch with him for years.  I have so many hilarious memories of Gord while working together at Kelsey's.  He made our work a fun and lively place to be.  I am deeply saddened and my sympathies to all family and friends of Gord.

How can I ever forget Gordie. He was the little brother I never had and I was the big sister, two of which he already had.

I remember young Gordie building the ice rink with his father; returning from ski trips with a new sense of athletic wonder; carving up the kitchen table as Becky led him through school projects; and stepping into manhood as he hosted friends in the back addition. 

Gord was always sure of two things: his own talents and his family's love.

Dear Herr Family,

I am incredibly saddened to hear of Gordie's passing.  He always made me laugh with his quick whit.  I am incredibly grateful to have known him.  I will cherish his memory.   My condolences to your family.

It is with sincer sympathy for the Herr family in your time of untimely loss that the staff of Stepping Stones Children's Learning Centre will miss but have great memories of Gord.  He was our cook when we first started the centre.  The girls were always impressed with his presentation of food for the Children. He had many talents.

Very sorry to hear of Gordie's passing.  I often times look back on our childhood and recall how excited I was that the Herr's were coming to the camp.  It was always lively around there when y'all were there.  Even though I have not seen yall in what seems like 20 years I still remember those days with a lot of joy.
