Hazel Mae Bacon Bonderick

Hazel peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the St. Catharines General Hospital surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of James “Jim” Bonderick. Loving mother of David (Pamela) Dunn and Laura Dunn. Cherished grandmother of Justin Dunn. Dear sister of Daisy (Charlie) Arnett. Predeceased by her brother Robert Bacon and her parents; Pearl and Harold Bacon. Hazel is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was formerly employed with Brock University, a member of the Dunlop Senior Centre and Southridge Community Church where she volunteered with their shelter and food bank programs. Hazel also volunteered with the Ontario March of Dimes.

A Celebration of Hazel’s life will be held at Southridge Community Church, 201 Glenridge Ave. (905-682-9901) on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. At Hazel’s request, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations made to the Southridge Community Church - Shelter and Food Bank Programs would be appreciated by the family.
