Helen Margaret Jackson

Passed away peacefully at Crescent Park Lodge in Fort Erie on January 21st, 2017 in her 88th year. Helen was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and grew up in Petpeswick Harbour, NS. She moved to Welland in 1950 where she spent most of her life. Helen enjoyed tending her many plants and flowers as well as sewing, baking, and caring for her pets. Helen is survived by her sons John of Milford, ON, Bobby of Welland, Wade of Port Colborne, and by her daughter Sandra Schoenfeldt (Jack) of St. Catharines; 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and extended family. Helen was predeceased by her son Eddy, daughter-in-law Linda, her parents Margaret & Albert Metlin, her brothers Jimmy and Clayton, and her sister Shirley Crawford.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St, St. Catharines (905-684-6346) from 2 pm to 4 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Helen will be going home for interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiake East, Nova Scotia at a later date.
