Isabella Lee

Suddenly after a long illness, my beloved wife of 64 years, my best friend, passed away on January 30, 2021 aged 83. Isabella was welcomed into heaven by our beloved grandson Aaron. Isabella was the mother of my five children Linda Corriveau (Paul), Christine Melko (Brent), Theresa Blazina (Tom), Robert Lee, Barbara Trottier (Greg) and grandmother of the late Aaron Melko, Rebekah Melko, Kristen Lee, Bill, Jamie, Bobby and Michael Blazina, and Joey, Danielle and Timothy Trottier and 5, soon to be 6 great grandchildren. She is survived by sister Jean McFadyen and family of St Catharines and brother in law Thomas Lee of Toronto. Survived by numerous family members in Britain.

Born in Glasgow Scotland, immigrating to Canada in 1967, Isabella worked for 30 years at Thorold Community Credit Union. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Women's League, a lifetime member of the Scottish Club and an avid member of the Celtic Club of St. Catharines.

Many thanks to The Heatherwood Retirement Home for the wonderful care and kindness given to Isabella in her final years. To my son Robert Lee and my daughter Christine and her husband Brent Melko, granddaughter Rebekah Melko and partner David, great grandson Dezmond Aaron Reade, his sister Alyssa and my sister-in-law Jean Macfadyen, thank you for the visits, love and caring that always put a smile on her face these last five years.

There will be a cremation followed by private service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, February 12, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
