Janice Patricia (Maves) Miller

It is with much sadness that our family announce the passing of Janice on May 8th 2026 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Douglas Bruce Miller and loving mother to Lisa Sharon Thoms (Stewart) and precious grandson William. Predeceased by her parents Reginald and Sarah Maves and her new born baby boy and sister-in-law Verna Baltus as well as her inlaws Stephen and Minnie Miller.

Janice was a RNA and for seven years she and Douglas fostered infants and toddlers and she cared for children and adults with special needs. She volunteered at Central Gospel Temple in the church nursery for 40 years and had a home daycare with her daughter Lisa and helped raise many children.

Janice was known for her baking, her " Miller cookies" were legendary. She poured love into everything she did.

She has fought the good fight finished the race and is now in the glory resting with her Saviour.

Visitation will take place at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Thursday May 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Visitation will also be held at Glenridge Bible Church, 310 Scott Street, St. Catharines,on Friday May 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment following the service will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston Street, St. Catharines, on May 15, 2026.
