Jean Gallaway

(June 27, 1935 – January 21, 2016)

Passed away at Extendicare Nursing Home in St. Catharines. Beloved daughter of Jean (1984) and Jardine (1995) Gallaway. Loving sister of Jack (1997) Gallaway (Marion), and Muriel (2007) Combe (Allen). She will be greatly missed by her nephew Gordon and niece Rose Gallaway, and will always be fondly remembered by her great nephews Jordan and Jack. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Jean worked at St. Catharines General Hospital for over 25 years. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and made many long-term friendships with her sisters. Jean enjoyed traveling, shopping and visiting with her family and friends. A kindred spirit she will be greatly missed by all.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Jean’s life at Club Capri, 36 Cleveland St., Thorold, on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 4 – 7 pm.
