Joan Marilyn Isaak

Passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving family after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Abe, who was by her side until the end. Mom will be dearly missed by her children Larry, Susan (Mike), Linda (Ron), and Brian. Cherished nana of nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and soon to be six.

Joan was a loving sister to Shirley Alguire and Carol Steele. Sister-in-law to Anne & Arnold Krause, Ricky Isaak and Donna Isaak. She will be missed by her many many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan lived for her family. She enjoyed her knitting and recently looked forward to meeting her friends at hospice.

The family will receive friends at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. St. Catharines (905-684-6346) on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm, with Funeral Service taking place in the chapel at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Day Hospice https://hospiceniagara.ca/programs/dayhospice.

So very sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I had the pleasure of working in the same building every day and saw her regularly in the coffee shop where she worked. She was a pleasure, such a bubbly personality and a wonderful sense of humor. She had such a way with people.

My sincere condolences to her family and friends - a very special lady indeed.

My Auntie Joanie was a very special lady in my life. I will miss her laugh, I will miss her smile, I will miss her kindness ,and most of all I will miss her HUGS and Kisses every time we saw each other..
