The YMCA will never be the same without you John. The first thing I always did when I went to the Y was to look at the pool to see if you were there. I always knew that I could count on you for a laugh and interesting conversation. It was real good to have known you. Fare thee well. I'll see you again a pool way upstairs one day.

My friend and "big brother". I will miss you so much! Wish you could have come and visit us this summer, but the creater had other plans for you. I belive he has gone fishing up where the great fishing spots are:) Hope you catch a big one John! My thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace John, I`ll really enjoyed our fishing trips when I visited. Wish you could have come to Norway too. Love you forever!

John was a co-worker and a friend I will miss terribly. He had a unique and infectious sense of humour that could brighten the dullest mood. John was a passionate man who loved to travel and capture life's precious moments with his camera no matter where he was. His enthusiasm for life was something that wasn't just talked about but rather lived out in every moment. For many of us we have lost a friend and co-worker and will be sad for a while, but in this let us remember John for his constant smile and his encouraging spirit during his final battle. “Turn that frown upside down”!
