The Lord has taken unto Himself, His child at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wives Alice in 1992, and Doreen in 2005. Beloved father of Johanna and Jack Abrahamse, Greta and the late John Livingstone, John and Lorraine, Marian and Ted Mertes, Brent and Pat, and Steven and Jayne. Dear step father to Don and Linda Fraser, Connie and the late Bruce Banfield, Bev and Frank Jong. Wonderful Opa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Aukje Passchier and Ge Iwema, and extended family in Holland.
The family will receive friends at St.Giles Presbyterian Church, 205 Linwell Rd. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, from 10 – 11 am, with the service following at 11 am.
