

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Julian “Jules” Lawrie at St. Catharines General Hospital on March 1st, 2024, in his 66th year. Born in Quebec City on Tuesday, July 1, 1958. He is survived by his beloved wife Candy Lawrie, his children Meagan Faucher (Michael), Kristen Chaves (Pablo), and Chantelle Lawrie, as well as his cherished grandchildren Caliegh and Payton and brother Paul (Katie).
Jules dedicated his working years to gold mining and continued to find joy as a tour bus driver until his retirement. He had a passion for music and was a talented drummer. Jules was a mentor to countless people and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had an immense love for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his vibrant energy and positive outlook on life. Jules' unwavering willingness to assist others will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Hulse and English Funeral Home and Chapel, located at 75 Church St. St. Catharines, Ontario, L2R 3C7, on Friday, March 8th, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Lung Association.
