Karl:
I am so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. She and your Dad were good friends of my parents (Pat & Ken Richardson). Kay and I exchanged Christmas cards and notes for many years and I always was so pleased to hear from her. I was concerned that I hadn't heard from her or you this past Christmas. Thinking of you at this very sad time. Janet (Richardson) Beitz

KARL:
Verna and I were saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Although we never met her personally we knew her quite well from our association with you at The Salvation Army Archives when we worked together; however, I did speak to her on phone on several occasions and found her to be very gracious and kind.
We know that you will miss her but hold on to your memories and keep close to God.
Verna and I want you to know that we keep you in our prayers.
Kindest personal regards.
God Bless you!
John and Verna

Dear Karl,
With deepest condolences, I must tell you that your Mom was the kindest and most generous person. She certainly made my career with Canada Post memorable. I'm so lucky that she became my friend. Your loss is felt so deeply.
