In the words of poet James Joyce, "fall if you will, but rise, you must."

This is what comes to mind when I think of Kenny. I'm reminded of the months he lived in a tent with no heat or running water, and sleeping in a sleeping bag on an air mattress. Few people could or would do this! Not only did he survive, but he also rose and went on to find an apartment where he could enjoy living in peace again.

I’ll remember Kenny and his ear-to-ear grin and amusing stories, as well as the silly way he and I would say goodbye over the phone. He’d say “goodbye, Martha” and I’d say “goodbye, Kenny”-- both in ridiculous voices-- until one of us would sign off. I’ll miss those calls!

R.I.P. Kenny!

Even though we are divorced we shared 3 things. Zak our oldest, Jordan who was born at 20 weeks gestation and passed in my arms after 2 hours and last BUT not least in any way our youngest Daniel. R.I.P. Kenny aka Beaker.

We remember Kenny as our neighbor on Vine St and my cab partner at Central Taxi . As a friend he never failed to make us laugh , as my cab partner he was always there to help, advise and challenge me in many varied ways. We shared many a pipe and many laughs and secrets and though we drifted apart in life, our hearts were always together as life friends. Life gives us special friends and they stay with us forever...RIP bro....we'll see you again!

I had only met Kenny once with my good friend, he made me feel welcomed and liked. I thought of him as a very good person. I had heard a lot of him through my friend. I feel like he was my friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him just a little and very well. Kenny was the type of person who always left a good impression and would help any one any time.

Well Kenny has been a big part of my life since we drove cab for Central Taxi back in the 70's.. He loved us unconditionally, he even drove in a snowstorm from St Kitts to London for the birth of my daughter.. He was my rock, he was always there when I needed someone to talk to, he brought me back from dark places and made the sun shine in my life.. We have lost a special soul that will never be replaced.. He has left me with only good time memories.. When I met him I had no idea that God sent him my way to be my angel.. I am so thankful I can't express my gratitude. May you be at peace and till we meet again my special brother from another mother. xoxo
