On March 15th, 2014, peacefully passed in her 24th year, after a short time spent in Princess Margaret Hospital alongside family and close friends. Lauren had been fighting cancer since 2012 and will truly remain an awesome example of how to live life to the fullest, each day, regardless of what life handed her. Her extremely unusual medical case will undoubtedly provide life to countless others.
Lauren was a devoted and loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. Loved by her husband and best friend Kevin, brother Nathan, sister Sam, brother-in-laws Colin, Brian and Sheldon. Parents Susan and Barry Brockingon were proud as Lauren defined courage, inspired their family and will carry her in their hearts forever. Parents-in-law Norma and Randy Lisoy were blessed to extend their love to such a wonderful daughter-in-law. Her love and devotion in others will be felt for all of time.
An amazingly genuine person, whose primary concern was to improve the lives of those around her, Lauren's selfless attitude brought balance to all. Her peace and insight will not be forgotten and will inspire others to not hold back on the things that matter most to us. Lauren's interests in the outdoors, traveling, sports and history were pursued with passion.
Lauren will be greatly missed after a life on earth cut so short, but will be answering her calling as mother in Heaven.
We love you Lauren.
