Lily Adeline McDougall

Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was 87 years old. Predeceased by her husband Malcolm (Mac) in 1991. Lily and Mac emigrated, with children Andrew and Sandra, from Wallsend, Newcastle, England to Canada in 1953. She is survived by her children Andrew (Gwen) McDougall, Sandra (Weldon Taylor) McDougall, both of Niagara Falls, Robert (Diane Goldsworthy) McDougall of St. Catharines, and Gail (Randy) Dupuis of North Bay. She was also survived by her grandchildren Craig McDougall, Kevin (Kristen) McDougall, Tom Robinson, Jim (Jessie) Robinson, Janice Iannarelli, Jocelyn (Cameron) McDowell-Cramer, John (Tammy) McDowell, Shannon McDowell, Colin (Laura) McDougall, Matthew McDougall, Cameron McDougall, Cassie (Brad Savage) McDougall, Dale (Nicole) Dupuis, and Brandy Dupuis. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren. Lily was strongly devoted to her family and will be sadly missed by all. Lily was a member of the Canadian Legion Branch 24 and was a charter member of the Ladies Auxillary. She was also a life member of the St. Catharines Downtown Association. When she was active, she enjoyed playing darts and other activities with these groups.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until service time.
