It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our dear Lynn Godard; beloved mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend on April 19, 2023, at the age of 64.
Lynn is predeceased by her mother, Joan Godard; her Nana, Helen Whelan; and her aunt Judy Feschuk (Robert). She is survived by her son, Troy Fitzgerald (Emily); her sister, Jacqueline Kimmerly (Chris); her nephew, Evan Kimmerly; and her aunts, Patricia Whelan, Catherine Anderson, and Deborah Anderson. She will be greatly missed by many extended family members: John Anderson (Tassie, Xander, Keaton); Debbie Anderson (Steve, Trent, Ryleigh, Landon); Jody Anderson (Ken, Coral, Keegan); Candace Anderson (George, Aiden, Elia) and Robert Feschuk (Sandra, Patti, Chris).
Lynn was so excited about the upcoming arrival of her precious granddaughter and was thrilled about becoming a Nana. She will definitely keep a watchful eye as a guardian angel. Lynn has always had a loving nature, especially when caring for seniors at Lundy Manor. Children always held a special place in her heart, and she was well-known for spoiling the children in her life as well as four-legged friends. Lynn enjoyed traveling to warm destinations, spending holidays with her family and making creative and thoughtful gifts for loved ones.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and doctors at the Hamilton General Hospital for their care and compassion.
A ceremony of life will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 798 Warner Road in St. Davids, from 12-3 pm.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.HulseandEnglish.com for the Godard family.
